CUSTOMER SERVICE

Our courteous and professional Customer Service staff will help you meet your yacht's service needs. They will answer your questions, develop estimates, write your service and repair orders, coordinate activities in our departments and follow up to insure your invoice is fair and honest. If we can't do a job, we will tell you and explain why. And if we can do a job, our Customer Service staff will do everything possible to make your experience with us a pleasant one.

Jonathan Prescott - Customer Service Manager

Jonathan started working on Manchester harbor in 1987 at the Crocker yard and came over to Manchester Marine to manage the Finish Department in 1994. He has managed Customer Service since 2001. A resident of Wenham, Jonathan had originally messed about in small boats on the Beverly waterfront and was drawn to a career in boat service after “seeing the light” while at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. He is a graduate of UMASS-Amherst (’83) and the class of ’87 at The Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design in Kennebunkport, Maine. His wife Sarah is the first woman graduate of the school (’81) and, with their two children, can be found boating in Penobscot Bay each summer. Current boat projects in the collection include: a 14’ Salem Willows wooden skiff, a 1963 Bullseye, and a fiberglass 1953 Fleetform 14’ runabout with Scott-Atwater outboard power.

Steve Anderson - Customer Service

Steve Anderson has been at Manchester Marine since 2002. He gained strong project management and customer service skills while working at GE and Day & Zimmerman. Steve owns a Bristol 31.1 "Wings" that he sails out of Marblehead Harbor. He has many years of racing experience as owner and crew in the International One Design Class. He is a member of the Marblehead Yacht Club and Marblehead Sail & Power Squadron. Steve is active in his community as a charitable volunteer. He and his wife Bonnie have been happily married for over 25 years and they have 2 daughters in college.

Mac Donaldson - General Manager

Mac has worked at Manchester Marinesince 2000. Prior to becoming the Yard Manager, he ran the Mechanical Services Department here. Mac also worked at Preservation Shipyard in Newburyport where he was involved in building a 40' cold molded certified passenger vessel replica of John Trumpy's "Aurora." Mac owns a 20' Mako CC and numerous skiffs.

Ann Andrews - Office Staff

Ann started working at Trysail Marina (now Inner Harbor Marina) in 1976. When Trysail was consolidated with Manchester Marine she moved across the tracks to the main office. Ann and her family own 2 Mako powerboats and have done yearly fishing trips to Florida and the Bahamas for over 30 years.
